You Come First
Meeting in your home with a Renova Renovation specialist.
RENOVATION PROPOSAL
We will send a price estimate based on the initial consultation for your consideration. If you’re comfortable with the scope and price we move to the design stage, or re-tool the scope to meet your budget and expectation.
Design Stage
To start and finish the design of your renovation we enter into a separate design agreement which requires a deposit.
A Renova designer will come and measure your home and begin designing your renovated spaces.
Once the design is complete we present it to you and walk you through in 3D. This gives us a good opportunity to explain the what and why of the renovation design.
After the design presentation we provide you the design to review over a number of days and provide any other feedback or required revisions.
Pricing
Once the design is finalized we will give you a fixed price for the renovation based on the detailed design.
Renovation Agreement
Once the price is finalized, and approved by you, we provide you a detailed specification and renovation agreement for signing.
Construction
Once the renovation agreement is finalized we start construction.
Interior Design & Selections
As we start construction you will start the interior design and selections process. Our Interior Designer will contact you and setup necessary selections appointments with our various suppliers. Our designer will walk you through the process of selecting everything from cabinetry & countertops to wall & woodwork colors.
Walkthroughs
During construction your Project Manager will setup any required meetings on-site to review specific components. Depending on the scope of you project you may have multiple construction walkthroughs: below are the two most common.
RENOVA will review placement of all the electrical and Audio Visual infrastructure in your home before insulation & drywall commences.
We will also walkthrough various wood working items to be constructed in your home e.g. custom built-ins for closets, entertainment units, wine cellars, etc.
Substantial Completion
Your project manager will notify you several weeks ahead of when your renovation is to be substantially complete and you are able to once again occupy the space. At that point a deficiency walkthrough will be conducted.
Warranty
Any other issues that are identified are corrected at 1 year from substantial completion; with a 2 year workmanship warranty on every custom renovation.

Wildwood Renovations
My husband and I embarked on a significant renovation of our 1950s bungalow in Wildwood. We loved the lot, land and location for 20 years and finally decided to take the plunge. Renova’s project management team (first Tom, and then Rob) were great communicators and project managers. Kal, the interior designer helped us with our design choices from cabinets, plumbing fixtures, tile, flooring, etc. The trades were excellent every last one more professional, and extremely talented. If there were any issues, and there are any large or small scale Reno’s, they were there to rectify to our satisfaction. Given the supply chain issues, cover delays, city permitting, delays, and weather delays were really only delayed by a couple of weeks. I really think that speaks to Renova‘s relationship with their trades and suppliers. The experience was very good and we are so happy with the end result. We are in a well functioning, beautiful home. I wouldn’t change a thing. Thanks Renova Team, I would recommend them to anyone.
